Here we are, after the weekend - and what a weekend!

The event at Boddington Hall, Leeds was tremendous - a new venue, with a new (to us) organiser - and a pleasure to be there. Some familiar faces and lots of new faces - we're looking forward to a return visit next year. Our thanks must go to Pat Eickhoff, Pat was so active the whole of the weekend, greeting visitors at the door, walking the floor, and making sure everybody knew about the talks, workshops etc. As we all know when we stand at a fair it's purely speculative. Lizian's principle is 'we are there, we love it, we thrive on it, we enjoy it' We love being with BSSK and it was really good to see another organiser of a different genre who provides a phenomenal show. Thank you Pat!

...'at home with Peter and Di'...

This part of the blog is very personal. It's a priviledge to know two individuals that make up the couple which is Peter and Diane Wall. They give and give without any question of 'what's in it for me?'... We were invited to stay with them over the weekend and what an insight you get to these two people.

Di is the most gifted and intuitive of humans. Her words, although sometimes firm (!) ring true and really make you think! She is unassuming, kind, and cooked the best food over the weekend (Sorry Peter!) Thank you Di, from the bottom of Lizian's heart!

Ah, now to the man who is Peter Wall... Recently on TV, there is another side to this man, unassuming, but with intelligence, and ability to piece together life stories. As a hypnotist he is second to no-one. The pupil is always better than the teacher - whoever taught Peter was good, but he'll not be a patch on this man! As you know one part of Lizian knows and works with hypnosis, so one part of Lizian can make this statement... 'for those of you who live within 30 miles of Barnsley, there is only ONE hypnotist and that man is Peter Wall'.

Thank you both so much for such a generous weekend... and the views - oh, the views! Beautiful...

Of course there is a drawback to staying with you - in Nottingham we don't have sheep or cows waking us up! We've learned to live with screeching tyres, sirens, and the odd whiff of 'strange tobaccos'... but cows and sheep - ah... horseradish and mint sauce!!

Pendulums...and dowsing rods...

pendant and earring sets... green aventurine and rose quartz...usual retail price would be £15 per set - but I've managed to negotiate a price that allows me to sell them at £5 per set - I expect them to clear very quickly!! great purchase for potential christmas/birthday presents!

natural gem jewellery... top row bracelets, yellow jade, green aventurine and rainbow jasper - the rainbow jasper bracelet is very unusual - it features the reverse swastika, the eastern sign of 'peace' - a beautiful thing to own and wear. The yellow jade has the most wonderful carved pig - i was tempted to break them down for the ornament alone...the jade is just sublime. All a real 'gem' at £4 !
Chip bracelets - well, what more can be said than £1 each or six for a fiver!
18" chip necklaces - some unusual ones here - for example, citrine, amazonite... can't be beaten at £3 or two for £5!

incense - Lizian brand incense: 50g = approx 50 sticks for £2.50... currently available in citronella, sandalwood, jasmin, dewberry, watermelon, cherry... more varieties coming next week... and I am delighted with the feedback we have received from this carefully selected product.
Also available - our usual sublime japanese patchouli based pure incense, and to keep everybody else happy, nag champa etc...

crystal balls... various sizes of fused quartz spheres... ever popular and of course, there's a Lizian deal here - anybody who purchases a sphere can buy an Esoterical Study 4 CD set from our In-sight collection for £5.00 (usual price £7.50)...

All of these items will be at Grimsby this weekend - and next month for the shamans and goths amongst you, we will be announcing a REALLY specialist product...

So we're looking forward to Angie working her 'magic' at bssk for the Grimsby event www.bssk.co.uk ... she's really doing phenomenal work at the moment and it is great to see her and partner Chris working together so well... it's a priviledge to work with them both. As you all know we owe Angie Simmons a great personal debt and we will always be ever thankful to this incredible person.

Lizian is pleased to inform you that we are expanding our range: we now have available, singing bowls, fair trade musical instruments, and our own branded incense...
All items have already received very positive comments.

We are also going to do a 'cover-all' booklet - with information about singing bowls, dowsing, crystals, rock salt... may be ready for Grimsby next weekend!

Lizian is also pleased and paradoxically dismayed by the people who are now beginning to copy things that we make and things that we do! you can't reinvent the wheel - we are the wheel that is Lizian! And this explains why we are beginning to brand and package our products. If it doesn't say 'Lizian' on the packaging (after August 1st) - then it is not Lizian supplied which means it does not come with Lizian's guarantees and freely given information. Remember Lizian is not a 'weekender' business, it's 7 days a week and is constantly expanding the variety of products.

Next month three new products will be added to the Lizian CD catalogue:

* Esoterical vibrations - this is a pure sound meditational CD and the tunes and notes on it can be used by others as background for their own CDs - this is the first 'copyright free' Lizian CD!

* A deep meditational CD based upon some of the old Golden Dawn rituals - no plaguerism here - we use the word 'based'... great fun!

* set of CDs to go with our instructional works - 4 CD package which brings insight and clear precise knowledge to the Kabbalah

What a busy few days we've just had... and here we are Monday morning ... We will be busy at 111 Victoria Market today - restocking, and more new stock coming in during the week! We will be at the market every day this week, including Saturday... and through next week also. Next event away is Sat 5th and Sun 6 July at Grimsby Auditorium... Mind body and spirit event organised by Angie and her team at www.bssk.co.uk ... looking forward to our second visit there this year!

So, back to the weekend just gone... Friday we set off and had a very pleasant drive over to Spalding, the Springfields Exhibition Centre, lovely venue - where we set up the Lizian stand ready for the weekend... On the way, we stopped off to see our friends, Phil and Linda - hard at work... and serving up the best (and I mean, THE BEST!!) bacon butties ever!! If you find yourself on the A17 Monday - Friday between 5am and 3pm... it's well worth a stop at Phil and Linda's...

After setting up at Spalding it was then on to Balderton, near Newark where we had a table at a 'Ladies Pamper Evening' - organised by Lynzi... What a lovely evening we had - fabulous venue, the Village Centre, Coronation Street, Balderton... we had the opportunity to talk to some very interesting people during the evening - who stopped by our table to look at the crystals, rock salt lights, CDs, and dowsing rods... Looking forward to the next event... we'll keep you posted and let you know where and when... There was plenty to do during the evening for the ladies who attended... Lynzi had arranged a couple of talks, and there were therapies (aromatherapy, indian head massage, reiki, back massage, nails and beauty) as well as readers, and the opportunity for some retail therapy! Here's a picture of our friend Val Stirling (some of you may recognise Val from the BSSK events you've been too)...
And the Lizian Round Table.... no sign of Arthur or Lancelot!! but plenty of crystals, incense, CDs ... and all at great Lizian prices!!

Thank you to all who made the journey to the Peepul Centre, Leicester last weekend, lovely to see you ... and it was a fabulous weekend! The Peepul Centre is such a fantastic venue - there were retail stands, and on the upper floors were therapists giving all kinds of treatments, aromatherapy, indian head massage, reflexology... to name but some...

Big Thank You to Ali Ladak, the organiser of the event. Ali's hard work and dedication paid off, as the weekend event was, in our opinion, a winner!! And all proceeds from the event will be going to LOROS - an organisation that Ali works tirelessly for every week...
