For well over a year the Nottingham skyline around the Victoria Centre has featured 1 to 3 large red cranes... We've watched with interest the progress of the project to initially demolish the existing Trinity Square Car Park, then gradually rebuild to create what we see today, a new Car Park, new shops, and new student accommodation. The project is almost complete - and the cranes are disappearing... They appear apparently overnight - but they have been dismantled during daylight hours so we watched the operation ... how do you dismantle a large crane? why, with an even larger crane!!

I watched this from my window, as I face this... well look down on this. It's strange now to look out of my window and not see the cranes anymore! You should come up for a cup of tea sometime and see the view
