We had a 'big adenture' with Aly, Jess and the gang at www.bigadventureevents.com in Guisborough, at the Prior Pursglove College on Saturday and Sunday... we'll support this event whenever it is organised and put on, as we will with any of Aly's events... there may have been a few teething problems but we as Lizian went to support what we knew was a novice event. We never approach anywhere we stand as a profiteering opportunity.. we stand to promote ourselves and our concepts and this event fulfilled our expectations and beyond. The over-anxious and wonderful organiser Aly and her gang pulled out every stop and whilst there were some minor teething troubles which some turned into mountains from molehills - for their first event it was outstanding!
Do you know there's another incredible thing that occurred here - Angie Simmons and her incredible partner Chris, (who was extremely out of sorts) visited the event to support Aly in every way, this is something very special and only reflects nothing but honesty and integrity from the two organisers.
As all of you who regularly support the Lizian blog (and thats over 30,000 hits this year) know, Angie Simmons has been an incredible supporter and part of our success. To see her happiness with Chris is very very important to us. But to see her undoubted and genuine support for Aly was the most special of things. And there's a few pictures to follow of the event - we'll be at Alfreton leisure centre, Saturday and Sunday this weekend with some fire-cracker deals - I'll have to end the blog, because I now have to start the monumental task of preparing the show...
