"Time and tide waits for no man" - add... "or Lizian"

May Bank holiday - after close of play on Saturday we headed up the A1M, across the 64 (past Tadcaster - home of John Smith and Samuel Smith).. and across Pickering Moor to Whitby. The drive over the moor is stunning - whatever time of year - on that particular Saturday evening, the sun was shining, the sky clear, it was beautiful. Even drove the whole journey with the sun roof open!

Unloaded at B&B (Sally and David as always made us very welcome and provided top class accommodation and service); then time to wander down to the harbour and breath in that fresh sea air... oh, did I mention, also pop into the Jolly Sailor - at £1.41 a pint for Sam Smith Cask ale, it would be silly not to!!!

Bank holiday Sunday and Monday we were in our usual 'sea view window' in the Whiby Pavillion Theatre at Di's Mind Body and Spirit event. And what an event it was... Well done to Di and her team - wonderful people, Di had really pulled out all the stops and we had a great weekend. Saw lots of now familiar faces, enjoyed the sea view from the window, watched the tide come in and out...

Thank you for your feedback and comments following the talk - 'self hypnosis and meditation' ...

Looking forward to the next visit in September - date for your diary - first weekend in September... also already booked for next year - May Bank holiday Sunday and Monday and the first Saturday and Sunday in September! The B&B is already booked!

Here's a few photos of the Whitby visit - starting with the 'lizian' stock waiting for access... the Lizian stand with the 'round window view'... down below the Pavillion Theatre were a group of people enjoying the Bank Holiday afternoon - supplies of beer and watching the sea coming in... our dear friend and talented Hypnotist Peter Wall, and the nice yellow boat... (sniff... sob....) I should have been enjoying my Spring Cruise round the harbour ... BUT... when we had finished on Monday and parked and made our way to the harbour, the boat was just coming in... and the next cruise was 11am Tuesday morning - unfortunately the tide timings meant that even though it was a beautiful evening, and only 7pm, no cruises could take place due to low tide... So we bade goodbye to Whitby 'au revoir' ... back in September for Di's next show (full details at www.thehealingtouch.uk.com) ...
