Lizian had the priviledge to be invited to attend 'One Day' at Portland College - organised by the EDI department (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) it truly was a wonderful day... staff and students had the opportunity to attend workshops, demonstrations, and talk to people at stands and stalls about different faiths, beliefs, customs, religions...
This is the fifth year that Portland College have run the event and Lizian is proud and priviledged to say that it is the fifth year that Lizian have attended the event.
The day kicks off with the opening ceremony - and prize giving ... this week is also the 'end of term' for most of the students.
We saw lots of familiar faces and were well looked after by our 'student ambassadors' Danielle and Peter - Danielle and Peter were actually engaged last week !! Congratulations to you both!!
