What a brilliant weekend - Nicolette and Claire (organisers) put on a unique event and they certainly put their own unique stamp on it. Don't change the formula girls! Don't be influenced by the few!!

'Festival of Spirit' featured live music from the world over; great interactions; wickedly brilliant atmosphere; the whole venue was just 'alive' - and for their first event, the girls could not be faulted.

We think they may well have started something which Nottingham can be proud of! Keep it loud, keep it fun!! Thank you girls!

Claire had just bought a nice new flute from the music maestro Steve Frost. We met Steve last summer at Southwell Folk Festival... he's a truly fantastic warm hearted generous individual. Incredibly free of all pretentions, my goodness he knows his stuff...
And every single flute seen here has been hand crafted by Steve in his workshop... he earns his living from making these instruments...this man's craftsmanship is second to none...
