Ian Timothy of Lizian entertained with his stories of ghosts and ghostly goings-on...Ian introduced many for the first time to the ouija board and how to use it to communicate with the departed... and led a tour of the place - once the County's Assylum ... What can we say? other than Thank you Angie and your team, and well done! and a BIG BIG Thank you to all who came to the Monastery over the weekend of 17 and 18 October - without you there would be no event! our first event in the North West, and we enjoyed tremendously meeting lots of new people, and bringing the 'Lizian' goods to Gorton for you to enjoy! Seance in the Criminal Court Room, everybody learned how to use dowsing rods and pendulums and used them during the evening as they toured the venue, visiting condemned cell, the caves, the laundry, excercise yard, civil and criminal courts... at one point we had a 'black out' for an hour or so, even more atmospheric - Darren had provided night vision cameras and EMF metres and other gadgets for the serious 'ghost hunters' - Ian was on had for tarot classes, and some palmistry and reading later on... there were lots of opportunities to 'connect' and people had some amazing results! Our dear friends Mike and Ann had kindly invited us to stay with them, so we drove over on Sunday ... had a marvellous sunday lunch in their local! And a lovely relaxing afternoon and evening, perfect. We joined Mike, Ann and their other friends on Monday at their weekly meeting - we were made very welcome, and the ten of us had an interesting morning. All rounded off with a fabulous 3 course lunch in the Sheffield Arms, Normanby village - where we ate, and chatted for the whole of the afternoon! They said they had a box of items and their challenge was to sell all the items during the day in Nottingham - the challenge was part of their audition for the next series of The Apprentice... I pointed out that generally I am at 111 to 'sell' items - not to 'buy' ! There were lots of fantastic exhibitors, with a wide range of products, crystals, wands, salt lamps, Nina and Jerry 'Divine Lights' with their unique Aura camera and healing; Magic Thread of course; readers offering different types of readings - spiritual, tarot, numerology etc; and of course it was brilliant to be next to our great friend Darren Stanton and his mother Trish.
